Help keep MessageFoundry free
MessageFoundry is an open-source project built by MEFOR-ORG, a non-profit — free to run, with no per-interface fees and no investors expecting a return. Sponsorships and donations are what will keep it independent: they cover the tools it's built with, the security work healthcare demands, and, in time, the people to help organizations adopt it.
Keep the project running
First, support covers the everyday cost of building and shipping an open-source engine in the open.
Tools & infrastructure
The basics that keep development moving — GitHub, continuous integration, and the coding tools MessageFoundry is built and released with.
Legal & accounting
The essential legal and accounting work behind running a real non-profit — so the project stays properly organized and above board.
Invest in trust and longevity
As support grows, it funds the things that make MessageFoundry safer to adopt and sustainable for the long haul.
Independent security review
An external code review and penetration test, repeated every year. ASVS Level 3 recommends an independent review; today MessageFoundry is self-assessed, and funding makes the outside review real.
A support team
Dedicated people to help organizations deploy, migrate off a legacy engine, and operate MessageFoundry with confidence.
SOC 2 Type II
A formal SOC 2 Type II audit, repeated every year, for organizations whose procurement requires one.
Ways to give are on the way
We're establishing a formal home for funding — a 501(c)(6) or 501(c)(3) — so sponsorships and donations are handled transparently and put to work where they matter most. We'll publish how to contribute right here soon.
In the meantime, organizations interested in sponsoring can reach out directly — we'd love to talk.
